So Saturday, 10/04, and Sunday, 10/5, we painted the master bedroom and the little entry area between the kitchen and the bedroom. These were the last wall DOWNSTAIRS that needed to be painted! It's a little bit lighter than the living room color so depending on how the light is coming through the windows, you almost can't tell it's been painted - except we can. I haven't taken pictures because I just don't think it would show up!
WE LOVE IT THOUGH!!! It's the perfect color for coordinating with our bedding colors and it didn't make the room too dark. We were concerned that the living room color may be to dark for the bedroom and would have made it seem smaller in that room so that's why we went for the next shade down - a perfect shade! The wall with the curtains looks GREAT!!
It's amazing what a coat of paint will do to a room!
Next, and all we have left, is the stairwell/2nd floor hallway, the loft, and the third bedroom/workout room. Once we get that done, we'll be finished! We are optomistically hoping we can finish the upstairs over next weekend! We'll see!
Stephen bought a Wagner spray painter for the master bedroom and we like it. It takes a little longer to do the taping but the application of the paint is much quicker than rolling.
