The Cabin: Nov 2008/Sept 2007

Okay, so these particular pictures below were taken last year at the cabin - in Sept 2007 - so the background is very green...not like the pictures in the previous post which are current...this year we went in time to see all the beautiful colors of Fall in the background...unfortunately, we didn't get new pictures of the cabin and rooms and such - but at least we got the Fall scenery!

As for this post, here are pictures of the cabin and rooms from last year (2007) and you can scroll down to the previous post for pictures of the scenery we saw this weekend!

So this is the front of the cabin!!

This is the Wickwire Room!! We have the third level of the house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower & tub, and also has a loft style living room with chairs, a couch and a chess table set up. The bed in our room is super comfortable!!! We love staying up here!

This is the gathering/living room in the lowest level, the basement - so to speak... This room has the largest TV so this is where we watch all the football games. It has a pool table, a little golf game and a basket ball hoop in a nice little cabinet that makes it blend in so well that you barely notice it...very nicely set up! This is the Hammonds' floor of the cabin. There is one bedroom and a bathroom with shower & tub on this level.

This is the Hammonds' Room, a double and a twin bed...since they are pregnant right now, it seems this will suit them great in another year or two when we go over there! There are no windows in this bedroom so it is very easy to sleep in later than your used to because it stays so pitch dark in there in the mornings!

This is the master bedroom, the Ramseys' bedroom. It is located on the main level, the middle floor of the cabin. Also located on this floor is the kitchen, dining room, and living room with 2-story ceiling and 2-story fireplace. The angles of the ceiling of the living room are beautiful...I wish I could find a picture of it!

Keli's Aunt and Uncle own the cabin so they get first dibs on the master bedroom...however, I we all like the levels we've picked out so it all worked out regardless of "dibs" on any room!

Keli's Aunt and Uncle own this as a private cabin - so only family get to come up and stay in it. Keli says her Aunt and Uncle spend almost every weekend up there so we all look forward to the one weekend a year they offer it up to us!
